Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 6 July 2026
These terms are a legal agreement between you and Ruth Vaqari, trading as Reviso, of 19 Manger Gardens, Halifax HX2 8BQ, United Kingdom ("Reviso", "we", "us"), for use of our app. By creating an account or using Reviso, you agree to them. If you are under 18, please use Reviso with the permission of a parent or guardian.
1. About Reviso and your licence
Reviso helps you turn photos and notes into revision materials such as flashcards, quizzes, podcasts, mock exams and speaking practice. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app for your own study. We keep all intellectual property rights in Reviso itself.
2. Your account
You must give accurate information when creating an account, including your year of birth so we can apply the right protections. Keep your login secure and don't share your account or use someone else's without permission.
3. Acceptable use
Use Reviso only for lawful, educational purposes. You must not attempt to break into or overload the app, probe or interfere with its security, introduce malware, get around usage limits, or scrape our content.
Reviso uses artificial intelligence to generate study materials. You must not use Reviso, its AI features, or their outputs to:
- create or share unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing, defamatory or harmful content;
- generate sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers children;
- create deepfakes, impersonate real people, or produce misleading or deceptive content;
- generate malware, spam, or content that facilitates fraud or other illegal activity;
- attempt to jailbreak, bypass, or manipulate the AI's safety controls; or
- upload content you do not own or have the necessary rights and permissions to use.
You are solely responsible for the prompts and content you submit, for how you use any output, and for independently verifying the accuracy and suitability of that output before relying on it. You keep responsibility for having the rights to any content you input, and you must not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of anyone else.
3a. Content moderation and rights-holder complaints
We may review, filter, refuse, restrict or remove any content or AI output, and suspend or close accounts, where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken. If you believe content on Reviso infringes your intellectual property or other rights, email support@reviso.app with details and we will investigate and act, including removing infringing material. We may terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you upload and create. You are responsible for having the right to upload it. You give us a limited licence to process your content only to provide the service to you (for example, to generate study materials).
5. AI-generated content (important)
Study materials, quiz answers, mock-exam marks and speaking grades are generated by AI. They may contain errors and are provided for study support only. They are not a substitute for teaching, official exam-board guidance or professional advice, and we do not guarantee any particular exam results. Always check important material against your original sources and curriculum.
6. Premium subscriptions and your cancellation rights
Premium is a recurring subscription (monthly at £5.99 or yearly at £65), billed in advance and renewing automatically until you cancel. Prices include any taxes where applicable. You can cancel any time from your account, from the link on your payment receipt, or by contacting support; cancellation stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase. Because Premium gives you immediate access to digital content, by starting your subscription you ask us to begin the service straight away and acknowledge you may lose this 14-day cancellation right once access has begun. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7. Payments
Premium subscriptions are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Stripe handles payment, billing, invoicing, tax calculation, refunds and disputes on our behalf. When you buy Premium you also agree to Stripe's Consumer Terms, which govern payment mechanics.
8. Refund policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with Premium, email support@reviso.app within 30 days of purchase and we'll issue a full refund via Stripe.
9. Service availability
Reviso is provided on an "as available" basis. We may change, suspend or remove features, and we don't guarantee the app will always be available or uninterrupted.
10. Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — this includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which we do not exclude.
Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: loss arising from your reliance on AI-generated content; indirect or consequential loss; or loss of data where we have taken reasonable care. Our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Changes and termination
We may update these terms or the app from time to time; if you keep using Reviso after changes are published, you accept the updated terms. We may suspend or close your account if you break these rules.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. This does not remove any protection you have under the law of the part of the UK where you live.
